Bottle Gourd - Lawki

"Bottle Gourd"
In Urdu "Lawki" or Lawky / Lawkee / Lauki / Lauky / Laukee / Loki / Loky / Lokee. There are different varieties of bottle gourd with slight or almost negligible variation in tastes.
Some people wrongly refer to it as Kaddu in Urdu, which is a name of another vegetable.

  • Holy Basil (3 types )
    1. Holy Basil Green leaved (native to Indo-Pak)
    2. Holy Basil Purple leaved (native to Indo-Pak)
    3. Thai Holy Basil (native to Thailand)
  • Thai Basil (not to be confused with Thai Holy Basil)
  • Sweet Basil
  • Lemon Basil
